It's amazing how much lint clothing creates on a lint filter in the dryer, but even more amazing is how many people don't know the importance of cleaning their lint filters. Here are a few tips for keeping your dryer clean:
- Wipe down the exterior and interior of your dryer weekly with Watkins Dish Soap and water to remove lint from the outside and inside of your dryer.
- Clean your lint filter each time you use the dryer to provide the best results for drying clothes and keeping your home safe. Built up dryer lint can provide an environment for fire. It's a good idea to occasionally vacuum around the lint filter area to get loose particles.
- Do a seasonal check for buildup of lint in the hoses and around the dryer.
